Journeyman Cell Tower Electrician

A little of what your day will look like:

  • Work closely with the general contractor on the job site
  • Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation, and steps that need to happen to resolve issues for each job or situation
  • Order material needed to complete jobs.
  • Properly track supplies, equipment, tools, and machinery

Your career achievements include:

  • Completed electrician apprenticeship
  • Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Active Washington and/or Oregon State Journeyman License
  • Cell Tower Experience

    Electrical Advisor

    A little of what your day will look like:

    • Answer phone calls, emails, and text message from clients in a timely manner
    • Check the schedule for openings based on current jobs and the client’s schedule.
    • Dispatch techs and notify clients of arrival times or any delays.
    • Follow up with clients to ensure they were satisfied with work done and ask for online reviews and referrals.

    Your career achievements include:

    • Experience in sales and/or customer service
    • Have excellent attention to detail
    • Proficiency Microsoft Office
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
    • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test

    Maybe you have:

    • Knowledge of online lead agencies like Qmerit, Thumbtack, and Networks.
    • Prior experience with Service Titan
    • Associates Degree

      Electrical Estimator

      A little of what your day will look like:

      • Use bidding software to produce bids
      • Solicit subcontractor and material/equipment quotes from company approved vendors
      • Prepare a complete bid summary
      • Prepare and submit scope letters, bid forms, and other bid submissions accurately and in a timely manner

      Your career achievements include:

      • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in electrical estimating
      • Preferred electrical contractors license
      • Must have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
      • Proficiency Microsoft Office
      • Excellent verbal and written communication

        Tower Technician

        A little of what your day will look like:

        • Perform work on the tower while ensuring that a safe, quality installation is performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load hopping, etc.
        • Installation of equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, assist in shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, labeling, picture-taking, documentation.
        • At the instruction of the general contractor, perform coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cable installations, connector installation, sweep and testing assisting, weatherproofing, color-coding, labeling, etc., connect coax feed lines and jumpers per piping diagrams, and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation
        • Complete grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting, and antioxidant use, support of leads, cad-welding as required, etc.

        Your career achievements include:

        • Experience: telecommunications, 1 year (Preferred)
        • Required travel: Washington and Oregon State (Required)
        • Successful completion of Competent Climber Certification, Tower Safety & Rescue Certification
        • CPR/First Aid Course Certification
        • OSHA 10hr or OSHA 30hr Certifications a plus
        • Excellent oral and written communication skills
        • Must pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
        • Valid driver’s license

        You’re able to:

        • Must be able to climb and perform work at various heights, up to 500 feet, for long periods of time
        • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs.; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and boxes
        • Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather
